Build with what is here

A small practice working across Nigeria — building in earth and brick, for heat, for rain, and for the way people actually live together.
We build with what the ground already offers — earth, shade, water, and the long habit of people making things together.
Replace this with your own history. Who founded the practice and when, what you were reacting against, the first project that set the direction. Two or three paragraphs is plenty — the projects carry the rest of the argument.
Our work runs from single houses to civic buildings, but the method does not change: understand the site, test the idea in model form, specify what can be made nearby, and stay on site until it is finished.

Orientation, mass, cross-ventilation and deep overhangs do the first eighty per cent of the cooling. Equipment covers the rest.
